On Friday (12-21-07), The Plimsouls make a rare appearance. This is another chance for us to relive the ’80’s. Who can forget the 1983 movie Valley Girl (He’s Cool, She’s Hot… She’s From The Valley, He’s Not!), in which The Plimsouls represented Nicolas Cage’s Hollywood music scene? It appears that Peter Case, Eddie Munoz, and Dave Pahoa, the original guitarists/singers, will all be present. Peter Case has released 10 albums of folk and blues since the Plimsouls days, but it will be nice to see the old band once again. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/plimsouls. Also, Safari Sam’s is a great place, and they serve dinner, too! Tickets are only $12, and the parking is free and plentiful in the strip mall lot: http://safarisamsclub.com/
